artafterscience has started a series of collaborations with Italian musican/composer and Barcelona resident Diego Dall Osto to create videos, live performances, and installations.

Kiss and Dance is a silent movie created Zev Robinson to which Diego set music, and that, together with Mass Hysteria are the basis for the live audio visual performace Music for Movies. Both are from the Recycled Culture series in which old movies with cultural relevance are re-contextualized in a collage so that the meaning is altered.

Two audio-visual installations are also being created using generative and concrete music, and video and abstract imagery and will be finished in early 2007.

Diego Dall Osto is an Italian composer/musician living in both Barcelona and Italy, where he teaches at the Conservatory of Music in Mantua. He has composed music for theatre and contemporary ballet in several countries, as well as performed in concerts and at festivals internationally. More at www.dallosto.com.
